Country Gardeners Georgetown to meet
The Country Gardeners Georgetown will meet Tuesday, Feb. 23 at 6:45 p.m. at Nunan’s Florist and Greenhouses, 269 Central St. in Georgetown. The public is invited and admission is free.
This month’s speaker will be Roger Swain “the man with the red suspenders” who hosted The Victory Garden on PBS from the mid 80s to 2001. Currently he co-hosts People, Places, and Plants on HGTV with Paul Tukey. The Haverhill and Groveland garden clubs will be attending. This spring gardening forum will cover quite a variety of topics.
Nunan’s will offer a discount for garden club members and the public who are in attendance at the meeting and shop during the break.
